Helen Blackwell Birthday 2018 in Chiang Mai.

I always get really exited just before my birthday. This year my parents agreed to let me have my birthday party at shooting range in Chiang Mai. At range you are given body protection and a gun which fires small plastic pellets. First we were shown how to use the guns and then we split into 2 rival groups ready to do battle in grounds. The grounds were set up with broken buildings to be made to look like deserted buildings to hide behind, trees and other hiding places. Their were about 8 of us nearly all from my class mates at school.

One of my best friends Natalie who left school this year also came as well as my usual gang and some others from my class. Bank was only boy. If you get hit you raise your hand and then you are out of that battle. Although we wore masks to protect our faces and heads and thick padded clothing sometimes a pellet would hit a part not so well protected which did hurt a little. No one minded because it was so much fun. Each session usually lasted about 10-15 minutes then a break for another group to use grounds before we could have another session.

We played for around 4 hours so had about 12-15 sessions. For my birthday party we had pizza and KFC fried chicken with coke and other soft drinks and of course a birthday cake. Although im 12 I still like having a birthday cake and blowing our candles with a wish. I cant tell you what my wish was or it wont come true. Everyone was really tired after all running about so we just chilled out for an hour before going home. It was a great Birthday party and everyone had a fab time. I might ask my parents if we can do it again next year.
